Head of Operation Division

Haji Abdul Aziz Bin Haji Yaman is the Executive Director at Pembinaan ASSAR Sdn Bhd; a fully own subsidiary of Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd (PASB) and is the Head of Operation Division at PASB Group, overseeing the Property Development, Construction and Resources business activities. He joined Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd in 2002 and throughout his 22 years with the company, he has led Pembinaan ASSAR Sdn Bhd (formally known as APPL Engineering Services Sdn Bhd) in undertaking various constructions projects and managing the property development projects under the Group. Prior to joining Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd, Haji Abdul Aziz had 10 years of working experiences in construction, property development as well as in the consultancy services. He obtained his Degree in Building from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a member of the Chartered Institute of Building UK (CIOB).

Head of Finance & Treasury Division

Lim Mei Fung embarked on her journey with Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd (“Permodalan ASSAR”) in September 2008, initially joining as Assistant Manager and subsequently advancing to the role of Manager by January 2011. Subsequently, in February 2024, she assumed the esteemed position of Head of Finance & Treasury Division. Previously, she held the joint position of Company Secretary for Permodalan ASSAR and several subsidiaries within the Group. Prior to her tenure with Permodalan ASSAR, she gained invaluable experience at Somerset Gateway Kuching, Serviced Residence managed by The Ascott Limited from 2006 to 2008. She also honed her skills in external auditing during her tenure at Arthur Anderson/Ernst & Young from 2001 to 2004. She graduated in Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting) from University of Otago, New Zealand and holds membership with both the Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Head of Corporate Services Division

Roy currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Services Division, which spearheads the Group’s Human Resource and Administration, Legal and ITCC departments. Roy graduated with LL.B (Hons) from University of Malaya (“UM”) in 2005 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2006. He then obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M) in 2014 from UM. Roy is also an associate member of the Advocates Association of Sarawak. He had practiced in a few established law firms and worked as in-house counsel in West Malaysia specializing in dispute resolution and general litigation matters with more than 18 years of experience. Roy's extensive experience had led to his involvement in cases reported in the law journals. Additionally, he had represented clients in highly complex and contentious matters and appeared regularly at the various levels of the Malaysian Court. During his time at the national carrier as in-house counsel, Roy managed both domestic and international litigation matters, collaborating with renowned law firms globally. He also advised on various commercial and corporate matters. Roy was also involved as a caregiver and part of the team that oversaw high profile aviation incidents in this country. He was one of the first counsels dispatched to Amsterdam to coordinate with local lawyers and assist them with the assigned tasks. Roy is a tactician and firm believer of strategic thinking. He is equipped with the necessary knowledge and experience to handle a plethora of legal issues. Roy's goal is to provide high-quality legal services while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethics in his practice.

Head of Corporate Governance Division

Yong Yi Mei joined the Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd ("Permodalan ASSAR") Group of Companies in 1996 and is the Head of the Corporate Governance Division which manages the compliance, internal audit and risk management functions for the group. She has held various positions within the Group; starting out in Finance and subsequently in Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management. She was previously designated as the Senior Compliance Officer of Amanah Saham Sarawak Bhd from September 2006 to February 2010 as well as the Head of Group Internal Audit for 12 years. From January 2017 to January 2024, she was designated as Chief Operations Officer of ASSAR Corporate Services Sdn Bhd – a 100% owned subsidiary of Permodalan ASSAR which provided supervisory services of compliance, risk management and internal audit to the relevant entities in the Group. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting & Finance (U.K.), a Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Malaysia) and a Masters in Business Administration (Australia) specialising in Project Management. Prior to joining the Group, she had 3 years of external auditing experience with a local chartered accountant firm.

Head of Strategy & Strategic Investments Division

Mildred Lanai Wong heads the Strategy and Strategic Investment Division of Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd ("Permodalan ASSAR") Group of Companies. She holds a Bachelor of Business degree, majoring in Accounting & Finance from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Western Australia. She is a member of both the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and CPA Australia. She started her career as a Tax Executive in Ernst & Young in 1996, before venturing into the corporate sector when she joined Sarawak Capital Sdn Bhd, a licensed investment advisory company, in 1997. She joined the Permodalan ASSAR Group in 2002 as a Senior Executive in the Corporate Finance department. She also held the role of a Company Secretary for the Group between 2014 – March 2024.

Group Company Secretary of Group Secretarial Division

Addy Badiozaman Bin Dollah graduated with an Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance from Middlesex University, London and also a Certified Account Technician (CAT) graduates. He obtained his license as Company Secretary under Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia in 2016. He started his career as management trainee for ASSAR Asset Management Sdn Bhd (“AAMSB”) in 2013 and was transferred to Permodalan ASSAR Sdn Bhd (“PASB”) in 2014 of which his position has since expanded to cover the role of Group Secretarial functions for PASB group. In 2019, he had joined SGOS Capital Holdings Sdn Bhd as a Manager and was directly seconded to State Financial Secretary Office under the Corporate Services and Investment Division. Thereafter, he joined Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (“SEDC”) and was appointed as Head of Secretarial Services Unit, entrusted to act as Company Secretary for SEDC subsidiaries as well as the Secretary to the SEDC Board and Chairman Committee. End 2022, he returns to serve PASB and currently the Head of Secretarial Division acting as Company Secretary for PASB Group of companies.
